Madison Berkeley is partnering with a highly respected, AIM-listed property consultancy to appoint a Senior Surveyor within its growing Property & Asset Management team.
A fantastic opportunity for a Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career and gain genuine Asset Management exposure within a well-established and highly regarded property consultancy & fund manager who also engage in co-investment.
Based in West End, the business manages a £750m+ mixed-use portfolio with a £50m rent roll, and offers a rare opportunity to combine hands-on Property Management with strategic Asset Management responsibilities.
The business has significant cash reserves, is highly profitable & has no debt, so in turn the bonuses are significantly ahead of the market average, circa 20 -30%.
The Role
You will take ownership of a varied portfolio, acting as a key contact for clients while driving asset performance and value enhancement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing commercial and mixed-use property portfolios
- Overseeing service charges, rent collection and compliance
- Building strong occupier and client relationships
- Managing maintenance, refurbishments and vacant units
- Leading rent reviews, lease renewals and re-gearing initiatives
- Developing asset strategies and business plans
- Advising clients on portfolio performance and value-add opportunities
- Liaising with solicitors on lease events and property matters
- Mentoring junior team members and supporting business growth
About You
- MRICS qualified (preferred)
- Background in commercial Property Management
- Experience managing mixed-use portfolios
- Strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills
- Ambitious and keen to take on greater strategic responsibility
