Are you an experienced Retail Asset Manager looking for the opportunity to shape the performance of a high-quality retail park portfolio?

We're partnering with a leading UK real estate investment and development business to recruit a Senior Asset Manager on a 14-month fixed-term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a diverse retail parks portfolio, driving value creation, delivering asset strategies and working alongside experienced specialists across leasing, development, operations and investment.

This role offers genuine autonomy, exposure to major retail assets and the chance to influence long-term asset performance within a collaborative and high-performing team.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Retail Parks, you'll be responsible for developing and executing asset business plans that maximise performance across a portfolio of retail parks.

You'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify opportunities, enhance leasing performance and deliver long-term value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement asset-level business plans.
  • Drive asset performance through strategic asset management initiatives.
  • Lead leasing strategies in partnership with internal leasing teams and external agents.
  • Negotiate lease terms and other property agreements.
  • Monitor and report on financial and operational performance.
  • Work collaboratively with development, operations, finance, legal and acquisitions teams to deliver business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with occupiers, joint venture partners, local authorities and external stakeholders.
  • Support valuation and appraisal processes.
  • Mentor and support junior members of the asset management team.
  • Contribute to wider business initiatives and key occupier relationships.

About You

You'll be an experienced retail asset management professional with a proven track record of delivering value across retail park assets.

You'll ideally bring

  • Significant experience in Retail Park Asset Management.
  • Strong commercial and strategic asset management expertise.
  • RICS qualification.
  • Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Experience developing and delivering asset business plans.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • The ability to influence, lead projects and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • A proactive, commercially minded approach with a focus on delivering results.
