Madison Berkeley are exclusively retained on behalf of a highly regarded Central London Commercial Real Estate Advisory business seeking to appoint an Equity Partner - Head of Property Management. This is a strategic senior hire as the business continues to expand its activities across investment, asset management and landlord advisory.
The successful individual will be responsible for establishing and leading the Commercial Property Management platform, with immediate management mandates already secured through existing client relationships and co-investment structures with landlords and investors. Based from the firm’s West End, the role offers the opportunity to build and lead a new business unit with significant autonomy and long-term strategic involvement. The successful candidate will initially oversee the recruitment and management of two Management Surveyors, whilst shaping the operational structure, service offering and future growth strategy of the platform.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and lead the Commercial Property Management platform
- Manage a commercial portfolio across office, retail and mixed-use assets
- Recruit, develop and manage a Property Management team
- Implement operational processes, reporting standards and management procedures
- Work closely with landlords, investors and internal stakeholders to support asset performance and value creation initiatives
- Contribute towards the growth of the platform through business development and relationship management
- Support the integration of property management and asset management strategies across co-investment structures
- Extensive commercial property management experience
- Strong understanding of landlord and investor requirements
- Experience leading and developing teams
- Proven business development and client relationship management capability
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the desire to build and grow a business unit
- Ability to operate strategically whilst remaining commercially hands-on
- MRICS qualification preferred
