An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast-growing specialist real estate investment platform focused on the UK industrial sector.

The business has built an impressive portfolio of industrial assets and is continuing to grow rapidly through an active acquisition strategy.

As the platform expands, they are now looking to appoint an Asset Manager to join their close-knit team and play a key role in delivering value across the portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and technically strong individual who is looking to accelerate their career, gain broad exposure across the investment lifecycle and work closely with an experienced senior team in a genuinely entrepreneurial environment.

The Role

Working alongside the senior Asset Management team, you will take responsibility for supporting the performance and growth of a diverse industrial portfolio.

The role sits at the centre of the investment platform, working across acquisitions, asset management, leasing, refurbishment projects and business planning.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Supporting the development and delivery of asset-level business plans.
  • Managing leasing strategies including new lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews and regears.
  • Working closely with agents, occupiers and professional advisers to maximise asset performance.
  • Supporting refurbishment and capital expenditure projects, including managing external consultants and project teams.
  • Monitoring asset performance and identifying opportunities to enhance value.
  • Providing asset management input into acquisitions, including rental assumptions, capex requirements and business plan deliverability.
  • Taking ownership of assets and driving business plan execution.
  • Building strong relationships with occupiers, agents and wider market contacts.

This is a hands-on role within a small and highly collaborative team, offering exposure across all aspects of the business and significant responsibility from an early stage.

About You

The successful candidate is likely to have

  • Around 1–4 years' experience within industrial real estate, asset management, investment or a related advisory environment.
  • Strong UK industrial sector experience.
  • A good understanding of landlord & tenant matters, leasing strategies and value creation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting or delivering lettings, rent reviews, regears and/or capital projects.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to take ownership.
  • Genuine ambition and enthusiasm to develop within a growing investment platform.

Their ideal candidate is someone currently doing Industrial Asset Management at a similar firm, but the business also would consider candidates from leading industrial agency teams who want to make the move clientside into a more holistic role.

The Business

This is a specialist real estate investment business with a strong focus on industrial property and a clear ambition for continued growth.

The team combines institutional investment expertise with an entrepreneurial approach, creating a culture where individuals are encouraged to contribute ideas, take ownership and get involved across the wider business.

The environment is collaborative, fast-paced and highly meritocratic.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior decision makers, gain exposure to acquisitions and investment strategy, and build a broad skillset much earlier than would typically be possible within a larger organisation.

  • Work alongside an experienced and entrepreneurial senior team.
  • Gain exposure across acquisitions, asset management and investment decisions.
  • Take genuine ownership of assets and projects.
