An established, privately-owned investment management firm is seeking an experienced Senior Asset Manager to join its UK Real Estate team on a maternity cover basis. With over £1.4 billion in real estate assets under management across the UK, Europe, and the US, the company offers a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment for seasoned professionals looking to make a tangible impact.

The Role:
Reporting to the UK Managing Director, this role focuses on active asset management of a commercial real estate portfolio in the UK, with a strong emphasis on value creation and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead asset-level business planning, lease management, refurbishments, and ESG initiatives
- Support transaction due diligence and onboarding of newly acquired assets
- Manage third-party providers including legal, property management, and advisory teams
- Execute value-enhancing lease negotiations, rent reviews, and capital projects
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, reports, and strategic asset plans
- Drive cost reduction, insurance compliance, and rates mitigation strategies
- Oversee in-house residential management team on ESG, safety, arrears, and compliance
Candidate Profile:
- MRICS qualified with c.10+ years of relevant experience
- Commercially astute with strong financial and legal acumen
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple complex projects
- Deep knowledge of UK property market, leasing structures, and asset lifecycle
- Proven track record of managing professional teams and external consultants
