We’re working with a well-capitalised, fast-growing residential investment platform, currently expanding its portfolio of HMOs across Greater London through its affiliated operating entity. By completion, the portfolio is expected to total 130–150 residential properties, all operated by third-party managing agents.
To ensure strong governance, value optimisation, and compliance, we are now seeking a Residential Asset Manager to act as the internal lead for this portfolio, managing the managing agents and acting as the client-side owner’s representative.
The Opportunity: This is a rare chance to join at a formative stage and play a hands-on leadership role in a unique housing initiative. You will be responsible for ensuring high performance and regulatory integrity across the portfolio while working closely with third-party operators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a growing portfolio of HMO properties across Greater London
- Conduct inspections and ensure full compliance with HMO and housing regulations
- Oversee capital and maintenance works across the estate
- Scrutinise third-party reports and manage known asset-level risks
- Liaise with managing agents, local authorities, and contractors
- Support quarterly reporting and stakeholder engagement at fund level
- Drive rent performance, minimise arrears, and manage cost controls
