Job Description
Our client is a leading real estate development and project management business, renowned for coordinating and delivering major signature projects across a diverse mix of asset classes. As they continue to grow, they are looking to expand their project management team with the addition of a talented and driven Project Manager. This role offers the opportunity to gain a broad range of project experience, with a particular focus on PBSA (Purpose-Built Student Accommodation) projects valued up to £75m.
Working as part of a small, collaborative team and reporting directly to the Divisional Director, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Conducting feasibility and viability assessments
- Contributing to architectural and technical design
- Managing consultants throughout the planning and construction phases
- Driving the project programme and critical path from development through to practical completion
- Understanding and managing client expectations in line with Employers Requirements and the Project Brief
- Collaborating with the QS to produce the initial Cost Plan/Budget and overseeing the tender process
- Reviewing and contributing to the building design from concept through to construction documentation stages
- Playing an active role in the negotiation and procurement of Main and Sub-contractors
- Leading the design team to maintain momentum and meet programme milestones
- Securing statutory approvals and ensuring compliance throughout the project lifecycle

To be considered for this role, you will have strong technical knowledge and proven experience as a Project Manager, working across RIBA stages 1-6. Professional qualifications such as MRICS, ARB, or MCIOB are highly desirable.
