Madison Berkeley has been exclusively retained to appoint a Senior Associate Partner on behalf of one of London's most respected independent property consultancies.

This is a senior appointment within an established Property & Asset Management team, offering the opportunity to work alongside the Equity Partners in driving the continued growth of the business while managing a high-profile commercial portfolio across Central London.

With a long-standing reputation for delivering partner-led advice, the business acts for an impressive client base including institutional investors, property companies, landed estates, charities and private investors.

Their independent structure enables senior professionals to build genuine client relationships, influence strategic decisions and develop their careers without the constraints often associated with larger corporate firms.

The Opportunity

This role combines senior Property Management and Asset Management responsibilities with team leadership and business development.

You'll assume responsibility for a substantial commercial portfolio while acting as a trusted adviser to clients, identifying opportunities to enhance asset performance, strengthen existing relationships and contribute to the continued expansion of the department.

With the commercial property management function entering its next phase of growth, you'll play an integral role in developing both the team and the wider service offering, particularly across the Central London office market.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic management of a diverse commercial property portfolio.
  • Provide Property & Asset Management advice focused on enhancing income and protecting long-term asset value.
  • Act as the principal point of contact for a range of sophisticated property owners and investors.
  • Oversee lease events including renewals, rent reviews, assignments, licences and wider value-add initiatives.
  • Deliver strategic advice around portfolio performance, service charge strategy and operational management.
  • Mentor and develop junior surveyors while supporting the continued growth of the team.
  • Work closely with the Equity Partners on departmental strategy, client development and business planning.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities, with a dedicated commission structure rewarding success.

  • MRICS qualified.
  • Significant experience within Commercial Property Management.
  • Strong understanding of Asset Management and the commercial drivers behind investment performance.
  • Comfortable operating at a senior level with direct client exposure.
  • Commercially astute with excellent relationship management skills.
