We’re working exclusively with a leading international real estate investor that is entering a significant new phase of growth within its UK Living platform.
Following a landmark acquisition of a large-scale, income-producing residential portfolio, the business is looking to appoint an Asset Manager to help drive performance across a nationally diversified portfolio of professionally managed homes. This is an opportunity to join the platform at an early stage of its growth cycle, with the chance to influence strategy, execution and long-term value creation as the portfolio continues to expand.
The portfolio is operated by an established third-party management platform, meaning this role sits firmly on the ownership side—working closely with operating partners to optimise performance, enhance assets where appropriate and maximise both rental growth and capital value.
The Opportunity
Reporting into a highly commercial leadership team, you’ll take ownership of asset-level business plans across a stabilised, high-quality Living portfolio, working across initiatives including:
- Driving occupancy and rental performance across income-producing assets.
- Challenging and managing third-party operating partners to deliver against business plans.
- Identifying and executing value-add initiatives that enhance income and long-term capital value.
- Financial modelling, performance analysis and investment reporting.
- Working closely with acquisitions, capital projects and senior stakeholders on portfolio strategy.
- Navigating the evolving UK residential regulatory landscape and ensuring asset strategies reflect current legislation.
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to speak with commercially minded Asset Managers who combine strong analytical ability with hands-”on operational experience within Living assets.
You’ll likely have experience across:
- Private Rented Sector (PRS) – ideally
- Student Accommodation
- Hotels or other operational real estate sectors
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience managing operational real estate through third‑party operators.
- Strong financial modelling and asset management skills.
- The ability to identify and execute value creation opportunities.
- A detailed understanding of UK residential legislation and market dynamics.
- A fast-paced, proactive approach suited to a highly entrepreneurial institutional investor.
