The Role
Global REIT with a rapidly expanding portfolio of Operational Living assets across the UK need to grow their Investment team in order to keep up with their busy capital deployment.
The UK business has grown rapidly through several major portfolio acquisitions with a strong investment pipeline across 2026, and plans to deploy well over £2BN.
They are looking for an Investment Analyst or Senior Analyst to support the wider team with a real focus on financial modelling and DD.
It's a market facing role even at Analyst level and you will liaise with agents, sellers and existing and potential operating partners.
Ideal candidates bring a mix of financial rigour, operational understanding (e. g., seniors housing, multifamily, student housing, healthcare, or hospitality), and a commitment to improving future resident and customer experience through thoughtful real estate investment strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the full transaction cycle for acquisitions and developments across the UK, including market research, underwriting, due diligence, and closing.
- Prepare cash flow models for all stages of the real estate cycle.
- Participate in site visits to assess competitive landscape and market.
- Present the underwriting, valuation, structure, risks, and due diligence of potential investments to senior leadership through corporate-wide weekly investment committee meetings.
- Participate in the structuring, due diligence, and legal process of transactions.
- Prepare and analyze investment data to form strategic plans both at the property and the portfolio level.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a similar analytical discipline.
- At Analyst level minimum of 1 year, and at Senior Analyst a minimum of 2 years’ + experience in commercial real estate, healthcare real estate, lending, investment banking, investment sales, or a related field.
- Strong real estate financial modelling skills, including valuations, returns and waterfall structures.
- Experience working on transactions.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
