A rapidly expanding, well-capitalised real estate investment platform is building out its UK Asset / Portfolio Management function and is seeking ambitious individuals across Analyst, Senior Analyst, Associate and Senior Associate levels. With a significant and growing portfolio in the UK living sector, this business combines a REPE style investment approach with an operationally focused mindset. The team partners closely with best-in-class operators to drive performance, enhance customer experience, and unlock value across their assets.
The Opportunity
You will join a newly established and fast-growing Asset Management team, working directly with senior leadership and operating partners. Each team member takes ownership of a defined portion of the portfolio, playing a key role in shaping and executing asset-level and portfolio-wide strategies. This is a highly hands-on role suited to individuals who want to move beyond traditional asset management and take real responsibility for driving performance and delivering measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with operating partners to develop and execute business plans for assets
- Analyse operational and financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities
- Review monthly reporting and proactively intervene to improve performance where required
- Contribute to pricing, sales, and marketing strategies to optimise revenue
- Support value creation initiatives, including cost optimisation and revenue enhancement
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives
- Deliver asset management initiatives that drive tangible improvements across the portfolio
Candidate Profile
- Strong financial and analytical skillset, including advanced Excel capabilities
- Experience within operational real estate (e.g. Living sectors such as Hotels, Healthcare, PBSA, BTR)
- Proven ability to work with or alongside operating partners
- Commercial mindset with a focus on value creation and performance improvement
- Highly proactive, intellectually curious, and solutions-oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Collaborative approach, with high emotional intelligence as well as technical ability
