We’re supporting a growing, boutique consultancy in appointing an ESG Lead to lead a small team providing pioneering sustainability data for major clients. This is a hands-on, data-led role focused on ESG reporting across property portfolios, with particular emphasis on energy and waste data, benchmarking, and client reporting. You’ll also manage and support a junior team member and act as the internal lead on ESG delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead ESG data collection and reporting across managed assets
  • Prepare quarterly and annual reports aligned to frameworks such as GRESB / REEB
  • Work directly with clients and investors to meet ESG reporting requirements
  • Oversee ESG technology, identify reporting issues, and improve outputs
  • Manage and support a junior ESG team member
  • Stay up to date with ESG legislation, particularly energy and waste

About You

  • Experience delivering ESG or sustainability projects (property or real estate preferred)
  • Strong ESG data, reporting, and Excel skills
  • Familiarity with ESG frameworks (GRESB, REEB, or similar)
  • Comfortable taking ownership and providing oversight (not just “doing”)
  • Sustainability-related degree, Net Zero / Social Value knowledge, MRICS.
