Job Title: Commercial Property Manager (Client Side / FTC / Part Time)
About the Role
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Commercial Property Manager to support the management of a diverse commercial property portfolio in Central London. Reporting into the Commercial Portfolio Manager, this role will play a key part in ensuring properties are well-maintained, compliant, financially sustainable, and positioned as attractive destinations for occupiers and visitors.
You will be responsible for day-to-day tenant liaison, property inspections, service charge administration, financial monitoring, and contractor management, while also supporting leasing activity, data management, and stakeholder engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional with commercial management experience to further develop their career in a dynamic and varied role.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, responding to enquiries and maintenance issues promptly and professionally.
- Carry out regular property inspections, supporting facilities teams and ensuring service providers meet contractual and compliance requirements.
- Assist in preparing and administering service charge budgets, monitoring expenditure, and supporting year-end reconciliations.
- Liaise with solicitors and agents on lease renewals, lettings, rent reviews, and other property transactions.
- Support financial processes, including rent, insurance, and service charge recoveries.
- Manage tenant onboarding, ensuring smooth move-ins and clear communication of responsibilities.
- Monitor repair works, quotes, and tenders, ensuring costs are accurately forecasted and recovered.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting using property management systems (including Yardi).
- Engage with stakeholders, including occupiers, contractors, and local community groups, to support estate initiatives and improvement projects.
- Provide reporting and analysis on performance, turnover, and footfall data.
Person Profile
We are looking for someone who is personable, collaborative, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing multiple priorities. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants, contractors, colleagues, and wider stakeholders.
- Minimum 2 yearsβ experience in commercial or mixed-use property management.
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with property management systems.
- Demonstrable customer service skills and ability to handle tenant relations effectively.
- Experience using Yardi.
- Knowledge of listed or heritage properties.
