Madison Berkeley continue our partnership with a Central London real estate management consultancy operating on a serious growth trajectory. This is a Senior Associate Director opportunity leading your own division, responsible for overseeing a group of key, growth focused property and asset management clients, while playing a central role in the continued expansion of the platform. There is immediate scope for this role to evolve into a Contract Director position as the business continues to scale. This is a rare opportunity to join a well capitalised consultancy on an expansion mission. The leadership team are looking for an entrepreneurial senior operator who wants autonomy, influence and the ability to genuinely shape a growing business rather than simply manage within one.
The Role
- You will lead a portfolio of strategic property and asset management mandates while also providing leadership, direction and oversight to a team of Surveyors delivering day to day services.
- Acting as the senior point of contact for key clients, you will be trusted with service delivery, commercial performance, team management and the development of new mandates.
- Mandates include large multi let offices and industrial parks, working closely with investor and occupier led clients across complex portfolios.
- Alongside delivery, the role carries a strong growth and leadership focus, with direct input into business development, client expansion and the ongoing evolution of the management platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage part of the surveying and property management team, providing direction, mentoring and performance oversight.
- Oversee delivery across property and asset management instructions ensuring service excellence and operational efficiency.
- Act as the senior point of contact for key clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure all properties are managed in line with regulatory, compliance and health and safety requirements.
- Oversee budgets, service charge sign off and financial reporting in line with client and RICS requirements.
- Support asset management strategies including planned maintenance, refurbishments and improvement initiatives.
- Manage contractor relationships, procurement and project delivery.
- Support lease negotiations, rent reviews and service charge strategies.
- Contribute to the growth of property and asset management mandates and wider business development activity.
- Play an active role in shaping best practice, service innovation and the wider change programme within the business.
Experience Required
- Extensive experience in commercial property management and asset management.
- Strong leadership experience with responsibility for Surveyors or technical staff.
- Excellent client management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Confident operating at senior client level.
- A growth mindset with the appetite to help build and scale a business.
