Madison Berkeley is delighted to continue to be partnered with a sought-after UK based investment manager who are primarily focussed on logistics, and increasingly on data centres & infrastructure. This is a strategic growth area of the business, and due to this growth, we are seeking a Senior Analyst to join the market leading team, who operate at the intersection of real estate and infrastructure.
The role offers exposure across the full investment lifecycle, from origination through to execution and ongoing asset management. Day to day, you’ll be involved in analysing and supporting investments in data centres (both stabilised and developments projects), alongside related infrastructure such as power generation (including solar and battery storage) and private networks to support them.
Key Responsibilities- Support the identification, origination and evaluation of new power and infrastructure investment opportunities, with a particular focus on data centre development / acquisition and enabling infrastructure.
- Support transaction execution across acquisitions, joint ventures and development projects.
- Assist with due diligence processes, including the coordination of DD advisors, reviewing technical, commercial and legal inputs and helping to synthesise findings into clear investment conclusions.
- Support the negotiation of key commercial terms alongside senior team members.
- Build, maintain and interrogate financial models for both development and operational assets, including stress testing, scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- Support colleagues with pricing, underwriting and valuation work across a growing portfolio of varying asset types.
- Assist with ongoing asset and portfolio reporting, performance monitoring and adhoc analysis.
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of investment papers to the Investment Committee and Board(s).
This is a highly analytical, investment-focused role, well suited to someone who enjoys working across complex, multi-faceted projects and is keen to build deep expertise in the power and digital infrastructure space. We’re open-minded on background, you might come from real estate private equity, investment banking, infrastructure or energy – what matters most is a strong analytical skillset, commercial judgement, and a genuine interest in the sector. Experience-wise, we’re targeting individuals with around 2–4 years’ relevant experience, at Analyst or Senior Analyst level.
