Madison Berkeley are delighted to be partnering with a longstanding client who are looking to appoint a Senior / Associate Building Surveyor to join their growing London team. Founded by two highly respected directors from leading property consultancies, the business has quickly established an excellent reputation across the commercial and industrial sectors, delivering high-quality advice to an impressive client base of funds, REITs and property companies.

Based in the West End, the team works across a varied portfolio of industrial, logistics and commercial assets, providing a broad range of professional and project-led building surveying services. Current instructions include refurbishment, dilapidations, technical due diligence, contract administration and asset improvement projects, with project values exceeding £20m.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering a range of professional building surveying services across commercial and industrial assets.
  • Undertaking technical due diligence, building surveys and defect diagnosis reports.
  • Managing refurbishment, fit-out and asset improvement projects from inception through to completion.
  • Acting as Contract Administrator and Employer's Agent on a variety of projects.
  • Preparing schedules of dilapidations, negotiating settlements and advising clients on landlord and tenant matters.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with funds, REITs, investors and property company clients.
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to the continued growth of the business.

They are seeking a commercially minded Building Surveyor with consultancy experience and strong exposure to industrial, logistics or commercial property. MRICS-qualified surveyors are preferred, although strong candidates working towards chartership will also be considered.
