A high-end commercial estate in Central London is seeking a capable, confident, and proactive Building Manager to take ownership of a flagship property. This site-based role involves responsibility for all operational and facilities-related matters on the estate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily operational oversight of a vibrant multi-occupier estate
- Review compliance reports (fire alarms, H&S, maintenance) and ensure timely action
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate contractors
- Be the first point of contact for tenants on building issues
- Manage statutory compliance: fire, water hygiene, lifts, etc.
- Coordinate minor works and assist with ongoing site projects
- Support annual service charge budgeting and reconciliation
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, occupiers, and the in-house team
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in Building, Estates, or Facilities Management
- Solid understanding of statutory compliance and health & safety
- Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused
- Confident liaising with both occupiers and contractors
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- IOSH/NEBOSH and IWFM qualifications desirable
