Madison Berkeley is excited to be partnering with a highly respected, purpose-driven UK asset manager to appoint an Asset Manager into their growing Property team. This is a rare opportunity to join a business where responsible, long-term investment truly shapes decision-making. Their commercial portfolio spans high-quality office, retail and industrial assets, managed with a hands-on, active approach and a strong commitment to sustainability and future-proofing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full end-to-end asset management across a defined portfolio, operating with confidence and independence while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
- Leading on all landlord & tenant matters: new lettings, rent reviews, lease renewals, assignments, sub-lettings, arrears management, repairs, refurbishments, surrenders and forfeitures.
- Managing external property managers and coordinating a broad range of professional advisers, including solicitors, agents, surveyors and environmental specialists.
- Regular involvement in asset valuations, monitoring capital and rental performance, and engaging in the monthly external revaluation process.
- Driving active asset management initiatives and maintaining comprehensive records of actions and financial impacts.
- Contributing to ongoing development of ESG frameworks and embedding ESG considerations into everyday asset and investment decisions.
