Location: Oxford
The Role: We are seeking an experienced Earthworks Engineer to join a major project starting immediately. The role will focus on setting out, overseeing earthworks operations, and supporting site management to ensure works are delivered safely, accurately, and on programme. Following the initial 6-month phase, there is a confirmed pipeline of work moving straight onto a new project, offering long-term continuity for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Setting out for bulk and detailed earthworks
- Monitoring cut & fill operations and levels
- Working closely with site management and subcontractors
- Ensuring works comply with drawings, specifications, and QA requirements
- Producing as-built information where required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Earthworks Engineer
- SMSTS (preferred)
- Own setting-out kit (for higher rate)
- Strong understanding of earthworks methodologies and sequencing
