Consisting of three businesses, we provide high-quality logistics packages on large capital construction projects, a resource company supplying labour and skilled trades to construction sites and a security & FM division with SIA qualified guards and cleaning operatives on a range of sites and premises across several different industries. JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a proactive Creative Content & Communications Lead to join our team, someone who can hit the ground running but in a collaborative approach. This role is key to enhancing our reputation, ensuring great story-telling and consistent messaging, supporting our business growth. You will be responsible for internal and external communications, as well as digital content across different channels, and management of our online presence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communications: Draft and deliver engaging content for internal newsletters, staff updates and project/safety alerts, and other stakeholder communications. Develop news articles, press releases, case studies, and project/campaign updates to raise the profile of the company. Support the preparation of organisational reports, presentation materials, bid support material, speeches, amongst others for internal and external stakeholders.
- Marketing & Digital: Plan, deliver, and monitor marketing campaigns to promote our projects and services. Manage company website via CMS: keeping content up-to-date, ensuring usability, and optimising for SEO. Create, schedule, and monitor social media content across LinkedIn and other platforms. Track digital performance using analytics tools, reporting on KPIs to improve reach and engagement. Assist with production of marketing collateral including brochures, videos, and photography.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with teams across the Group to identify and develop content and case studies. Support community engagement initiatives, where required, linked to organisation's projects.
- General: Organise and maintain relevant cloud folders and shared resources/materials. Maintain and ensure published materials/content adhere to company Brand Guide. Assist the planning and delivery of internal conferences and external events, where appropriate. Research, collect and curate relevant industry news and insights, and social media trends.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Experience & Knowledge: Degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, or PR (preferably in construction or built environment, but not essential). 3-5 years' experience in a marketing/communications role. Proficient in CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, amongst others) and social media management tools. Familiarity with SEO principles and basic digital design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat). Knowledge of LinkedIn analytics and paid media. Proficient with Microsoft office suite.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail. Creative, proactive and solutions focused. Confident communicator, able to adapt tone and style for different audiences. Strong team player with the ability to work independently. Excellent stakeholder engagement: collaborating with internal teams and external parties. Excellent organisational skills; ability to manage multiple activities and priorities. Flexible, able to adapt to changing project demands.
