We are looking for an experienced Working Foreman to lead the day-to-day delivery of a live school refurbishment project in Purley. The successful candidate will supervise operatives and subcontractors while remaining hands-on where required, ensuring works are completed safely, to programme and to a high standard within an occupied school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of a school refurbishment project.
- Supervise site operatives, subcontractors and deliveries.
- Carry out hands-on works where appropriate to support the programme.
- Coordinate works including roofing, brickwork, damp proofing, metal staircases, fire door repairs and replacements, and general building maintenance.
- Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications.
- Maintain site records including daily diaries, labour returns and progress reports.
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
