Overview

Project Overview: The role is based at The Boatyard, a major regeneration scheme comprising 152 affordable residential apartments and three commercial units across four blocks with associated undercroft parking. Block A is a 14-storey building with three basement levels, while Blocks B, C and D rise to 7, 5 and 3 storeys respectively.

Role Overview

We are seeking an Engineer with Instrument experience to join the site team at Bristol Boatyard. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting technical delivery, ensuring quality, and contributing to the safe progression of this landmark development.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out engineering and instrumentation duties on-site.
  • Install, calibrate, test, and maintain instruments and monitoring systems.
  • Support remediation and construction activities in line with new regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Work closely with project managers, contractors, and consultants.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Engineer with strong instrumentation skills.
  • Relevant qualifications (Engineering/Instrumentation or equivalent).
  • Ability to work on large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong safety awareness and problem-solving ability.
  • CSCS or equivalent certification preferred
