Senior Site Manager required for a main contractor joining a large industrial project at fit-out stage. Responsible for full site coordination, subcontractor management, programme delivery, safety, quality, commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations through fit-out to completion.
  • Coordinate multiple subcontract packages including M&E and finishing trades.
  • Drive programme, short-term planning and progress reporting.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and housekeeping.
  • Manage logistics, sequencing and interface between trades.
  • Lead subcontractor meetings and daily briefings.
  • Control snagging, commissioning and handover processes.
  • Support commercial team with progress records and variations.
  • Act as key site interface with client, consultants and inspectors.

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on large industrial / warehouse / logistics projects.
  • Strong fit-out and M&E coordination experience.
  • Main contractor background managing multiple subcontract packages.
  • Excellent programme control, leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of H&S and quality systems.
  • Ability to take ownership of a project mid-phase and drive completion.

Qualifications

  • SMSTS – Essential
  • CSCS Black Card – Essential
  • First Aid – Preferred
  • Construction-related qualification – Preferred
