MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all on-duty personnel maintain high professional standards and discipline.
  • Deliver daily briefings to client management, MadiganGill Contracts Manager, covering night shift reports, incidents, and contractual matters.
  • Engage with the Contracts Manager regularly to fulfill contractual obligations and address ad hoc requests efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and CCTV Code of Practice and train new operators on CCTV systems.
  • Monitor access control systems.
  • Review all incident reports prior to issue of the client, noting methods learnt and actions.
  • Manage keyholding systems.
  • Escalate incidents and accidents to MadiganGill Contracts Manager as per assignment instructions.
  • Regular site visits – completing visit report (both in and outside of working hours)
  • Proactively visit sites within 24 hours of any incident
  • Educate team members on escalation procedures for defects, ensuring proper reporting to Helpdesk and Security control room.
  • Report any system malfunctions immediately to Helpdesk and client management.
  • Uphold professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct always.
  • Fulfill the contractual hours.
  • Maintain full knowledge of emergency procedures and any temporary operational instructions and make the team aware of all emergency procedures.
  • Maintain the high scorings of KPI\’s by delivering a good service.
  • Manage scheduling systems (Guardhouse) to ensure proper allocation of contractual and non-contractual hours.
  • Administer and oversee the holiday scheduling system to ensure compliance with allocated leave periods.
  • Ensure all security personnel possess valid SIA licenses and company-issued identification.
  • Ensure all staff members adhere to the corporate dress code and uniform requirements.
  • Conduct investigations and leverage available technology to compile comprehensive reports for the client.
  • Assist staff experiencing welfare-related challenges and escalate concerns to the Contracts Manager or HR.
  • Promote a center of excellence in customer-focused approach among security personnel, ensuring prompt response to client needs.
  • Report all security breaches, including burglary, theft, trespassing, vandalism, or threats to life and property, to the police, client, head office, and HR.
  • Immediately report any instance of personnel being under the influence of alcohol or unauthorised substances.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required by the client or your management.
  • Maintain the highest professional standards while representing the company and client.
  • Represent MadiganGill Security & FM Services to the best of your ability.
  • Conduct audits of security operations across all sites as per client instructions.
  • Prepare and submit accurate crime reports for any security breaches or break-ins to the client and management team.
  • Meeting note taking (where applicable HR etc)
  • Monitoring workforce for lateness, days off etc.
  • Completing night worker assessment forms
  • Ensuring site Training documents are issued and stored
  • Conducting probation reviews and appraisals
  • Review and amend site Risk Assessments & Method Statements
