We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a six-week programme of fire safety works, including the installation of fire doors, fire stopping and remediation works, together with minor M&E alterations. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, to the required quality standards, and within a challenging programme. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive individual who can drive subcontractor performance, coordinate multiple trades, resolve issues quickly, and maintain excellent client relationships within an occupied environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all site activities and subcontractors.
- Drive programme delivery to achieve completion within the six-week timescale.
- Coordinate fire door, fire remediation and minor M&E works.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, quality standards and project specifications.
- Carry out daily site inspections, progress reporting and quality checks.
- Liaise with the client, residents and project team to ensure smooth delivery.
Essential Requirements
- Current Enhanced DBS certificate.
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card) and First Aid at Work.
- Proven experience managing fire door installation and passive fire protection projects.
- Experience coordinating minor M&E works.
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
