We are seeking an experienced Freelance QA/QC Manager to support a live fire remediation (recladding) project comprising four occupied residential blocks in Elephant & Castle.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and inspect works to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and relevant regulations.
- Carry out routine quality inspections and maintain inspection records.
- Identify defects and non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and closed out.
- Review subcontractor workmanship and verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
- Support the completion of quality documentation, inspection test plans (ITPs), and handover records.
- Work closely with the site management team to maintain high quality standards throughout the project. Requirements
- Proven QA/QC experience on façade, recladding, fire remediation, or external envelope projects.
- Strong understanding of construction quality management systems and inspection processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Relevant construction qualifications and CSCS card.
- Experience on occupied residential projects is desirable
