We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the final stages of a residential development in Peckham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the commissioning process, managing client inspections, and ensuring apartments and communal areas are presented to a high standard for snagging and handover.

This is a customer-facing role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders during the project's completion phase.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day activities associated with the project's commissioning and handover.

Escort commissioning engineers throughout the development, providing access and coordinating their activities.

Accompany the client, employer's agent, and other stakeholders during inspections and de-snagging walks.

Record snagging items accurately and allocate actions to the relevant subcontractors.

Monitor the completion of snagging works and verify quality before re-inspections.

Coordinate subcontractors to ensure defects are rectified within agreed timescales.

Maintain a safe, clean, and presentable site during the commissioning and handover period.

Liaise closely with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and Design Team to resolve outstanding issues.

Ensure all statutory inspections, commissioning documentation, O&M manuals, and handover information are available as required.

Carry out quality inspections to ensure all finishes meet project and client standards.

Assist with practical completion and final handover activities.

Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.

Essential Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential developments.

Experience managing projects through commissioning, snagging, and handover phases.

Strong knowledge of residential construction and finishing trades.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and prioritise workloads.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.

Competent in using Microsoft Office and snagging software (desirable).

Valid SMSTS qualification.

CSCS Black or Gold Card.

First Aid at Work qualification.

Fire Marshal qualification (desirable).
