We are seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to deliver a high-value commercial fit-out project in Oxford. The successful candidate will have a strong fit-out project management background combined with solid mechanical and electrical expertise, capable of managing a £10m M&E package from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for the delivery of the M&E package on a commercial fit-out project
- Management and coordination of M&E subcontractors and suppliers
- Programme management to ensure works are delivered on time and within budget
- Review and coordination of M&E design information, drawings, and specifications
- Chairing and attending progress and coordination meetings
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, building regulations, and project standards
- Managing commissioning, testing, and final handover of M&E systems
- Liaising closely with the main contractor, client team, consultants, and site management
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager on commercial fit-out projects
- Strong background in both mechanical and electrical services
- Experience managing large M&E packages (circa £10m preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and workstreams
- Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
- SMSTS / CSCS (or equivalent) preferred

- Competitive freelance rate (dependent on experience)
- One-year contract with potential for extension
