We are seeking a proactive and organised Materials Controller to join our site team on a new build residential project in Bracknell. The role will involve overall management of material call-offs for key trades, ensuring site operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities * Manage and coordinate material call-offs for: * Bricklayers (bricks, blocks, cement, mortar, etc.) * Carpenters (timber, sheet materials, fixings, etc.) * Plumbers (pipework, fittings, valves, sundries, etc.) * Oversee ordering and delivery schedules for general site consumables. * Maintain accurate records of materials on site and in storage. * Monitor usage levels to avoid shortages or over-ordering. * Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and the site management team to ensure timely delivery of materials. * Support site productivity by ensuring materials are available when required. * Keep stock areas organised and compliant with health and safety standards. * Produce regular inventory reports for the project team. Candidate Profile * Proven organisational skills with a keen eye for detail. * Experience in inventory management or material ordering is essential. * Strong communication and coordination skills to work with multiple trades. * Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively. * Experience within the construction industry is advantageous, but not mandatory. * IT literacy (Microsoft Office / inventory systems) desirable.
