We are seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to join the delivery team on the Phase 2 regeneration project in Peckham. The successful candidate will oversee the full MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health) package across the redevelopment, ensuring quality, compliance, programme and coordination with all trades on site. This is a long-term role, ideal for someone looking to take ownership of building services delivery on a major residential-led scheme.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all MEP installation works on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
- Coordinate subcontractors and monitor progress against programme.
- Lead technical reviews, including design coordination, clash detection and buildability input.
- Ensure statutory compliance, including commissioning, testing and handover documentation.
- Attend and chair MEP progress meetings, reporting regularly to the Project Manager and wider site team.
- Review RAMS, method statements, and quality assurance documentation.
- Identify and resolve technical issues early, escalating where necessary.
- Work closely with commercial teams regarding variations, valuations and subcontractor performance.
- Manage building services during fit-out and final commissioning phases.
- Ensure all health, safety and environmental requirements are strictly followed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Building Services Manager on major residential, mixed-use, or regeneration projects.
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to coordinate with design teams, subcontractors and site management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Good working knowledge of UK building regulations and compliance requirements.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid preferred.
- Experience managing building services from shell & core through fit-out and handover.
