Overview\\n\\nA leading contractor is seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to support both pre-construction and live construction stages across multiple commercial projects in Marylebone. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.\\n\\nThe role requires strong technical knowledge across mechanical and electrical building services, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage design, installation, and commissioning activities from early stages through to completion.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nPre-Construction\\n\\n * \\n\\n Review MEP design information, specifications, and employer requirements.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Identify technical risks, design gaps, clashes, and buildability issues.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Support tender review, subcontractor selection, and procurement strategy.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Input into programme, logistics planning, and services integration.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Lead technical queries (TQs/RFIs) and coordinate with designers and consultants.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Prepare precon reports, services summaries, and design reviews.\\n\\nLive Construction\\n\\n * \\n\\n Manage the delivery of M&E services on multiple commercial projects.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Oversee installation quality, compliance, and integration of services.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Coordinate subcontractors, design teams, and site management.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Monitor progress against programme and resolve technical issues.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Carry out site inspections, snagging, and compliance checks.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ensure all commissioning, testing, and handover documentation is completed.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\n * \\n\\n Proven experience as a Building Services Manager within a main contractor or M&E contractor.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong M&E technical background across commercial builds.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Experience covering both pre-construction and live delivery phases.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Able to start immediately or at short notice.\\n\\nIdeal Candidate\\n\\n * \\n\\n Proactive, organised, and confident working independently.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Can quickly pick up ongoing projects and drive progress.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Comfortable leading technical discussions and resolving on-site issues.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Looking for a long-term assignment with potential for perm transition
