We are seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join our team, working with a specialist Strip Out and Enabling Works Contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for both estimating and surveying functions within the business.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit tenders for new projects.
- Monitor and control project costs throughout all stages of delivery.
- Manage subcontractor orders and variations.
- Prepare valuations, cost reports, and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with JCT contract requirements.
- Support the project team with commercial and financial guidance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in enabling works or strip out projects (preferable).
- Strong knowledge of JCT Contracts.
- Experience in both estimating and surveying roles.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency with estimating and cost management software
