We are seeking an experienced Design Manager with a proven track record in Data Centre / Mission Critical projects to manage and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams from pre-construction through to delivery. The role is client-facing and based at our client’s office in Newbury.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design management process across Data Centre projects.
- Coordinate architectural, structural, civil, and MEP design teams.
- Manage design deliverables, RFIs, technical queries, and design changes.
- Chair design coordination meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Ensure designs are compliant, buildable, and delivered to programme.
- Support procurement, commissioning, and project handover activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a Design Manager on Data Centre / Mission Critical projects.
- Strong understanding of MEP coordination and Design.
