Steel Fixers Required to start for a project in Epsom.
Requirements:
- CSCS Card (Blue NVQ Lvl 2)
- Own PPE
- Own tools
- Experience of working on large sites
Responsibilities:
- Read Plans: Follow engineering drawings and blueprints to know bar sizes, shapes, and spacing.
- Cut and Bend: Use hand tools, power tools, or bending machines to shape rebar and mesh.
- Tie Rebar: Secure bars together using wire, clips, or electric tiers to build strong cages for foundations, walls, and columns.
- Place Supports: Install plastic or concrete spacers and chairs so the steel stays in the correct position inside the concrete
