About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Close Protection Team Leader to lead and a busy public facing operations for high-profile client.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 2, conducting risk assessments, planning protective operations, and ensuring the safety and security of clients at all times.

This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strong situational awareness, and the ability to operate effectively in dynamic and high-pressure environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise team during operations.
  • Conduct comprehensive threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments.
  • Develop and implement operational security plans and protective strategies.
  • Liaise with clients, venue management, law enforcement agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate advance reconnaissance and route planning.
  • Ensure all operational activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Produce incident reports, intelligence briefings, and operational documentation.
  • Manage team deployment, scheduling, and welfare.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and customer service.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid SIA Close Protection Licence.
  • Minimum 5 years' Close Protection experience.
  • Previous experience leading teams.
  • Strong knowledge of threat assessment and security procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Right to work in the UK.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Military, Police, or Government Security background.
  • First Aid at Work qualification (FREC 3 or higher preferred).
  • Surveillance and counter-surveillance experience.
  • Security management or leadership qualification.
