We’re also open to a strong Assistant Site Manager ready to step up into this externals-focused role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing brickwork, window installation, and scaffolding packages and be looking for long-term progression into a Site Management role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Site Manager in coordinating and supervising externals trades and subcontractors.
  • Monitor progress, quality, and safety standards on site.
  • Contribute to short-term planning, progress reporting, and resolving site issues.
  • Maintain accurate site records and assist with QA and handover documentation.
  • Promote a proactive, safety-first culture on site.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting externals delivery on residential or mixed-use projects.
  • Good understanding of brickwork, windows, and scaffolding sequencing.
  • SMSTS (or SSSTS minimum), CSCS, and First Aid.
  • Keen to develop within a stable, long-term role.
