We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to provide two weeks' holiday cover on a scheme in Abingdon.
- Key Duties
- Setting out piles accurately in accordance with drawings and site control.
- Checking line and level of columns.
- Carrying out general setting out and surveying duties as required.
- Maintaining accurate site records and as-built information.
- Liaising with the Site Manager and subcontractors to resolve any engineering issues.
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and required tolerances.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on UK construction projects.
- Strong setting-out experience, particularly piling and structural works.
- Competent using total station/surveying equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Able to work independently and confidently cover the engineering requirements on site for the two-week period
