About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Material Controller to join a busy residential construction site team working for a well-established PLC housebuilder. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and organised skilled labourer looking to move into a long-term permanent role within site logistics and materials management. No previous Material Controller experience is required as full support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing stock levels within the site store
- Organising and maintaining the site store efficiently
- Coordinating where materials are placed and stored by Forklift Drivers (Forkie's)
- Working closely alongside Assistant Site Managers (ASM's)
- Ensuring materials are accessible, accounted for and stored safely
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the construction site
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card essential
- No SSSTS required
- Previous construction site experience preferred
- Ideal for a strong and dependable skilled labourer
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
