Job Details:

  • Carry out high-quality white top reinstatements, including the preparation, finishing, and signing-off of footways, verges, and other surfaces.
  • Ensure all surface reinstatements comply with SROH standards, client specifications, and NRSWA requirements.
  • Inspect excavations and backfill works before completing white top finishes to ensure compliance and prevent potential defects.
  • Undertake cutting back, compaction checks, edging, levelling, and surface finishing to deliver a durable and accurate reinstatement.
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors, teams, and client representatives to coordinate site access and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Record all completed reinstatement work using handheld devices, including photos, measurements, and compliance notes.
  • Identify any issues on site - incorrect depths, poor compaction, unsafe edges, trip hazards - and escalate or correct immediately.
  • Maintain all tools, equipment, and reinstatement materials to ensure consistent output quality.
  • Provide guidance and support to reinstatement crews to ensure the excavation is ready for white topping.
  • Ensure all works are delivered safely, keeping sites clean, tidy, and compliant with permit and traffic management requirements.

  • Must have Street works ticket (NRSWA Accredited)
  • CSCS Card
