Are you looking for a rewarding career where you feel valued and supported? In this role you will help young people aged 7‑18 through daily challenges and support their emotional and educational wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop positive relationships with young people, their families and external agencies.
- Contribute to care plans and risk assessments, and support their implementation and reviews.
- Support young people with daily activities, educational needs and emotional wellbeing.
- Ensure that good quality records are maintained as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a children’s residential setting or similar role is welcomed.
- Ability to interact with young people and manage challenging behaviours calmly.
- Ability to work independently, manage risk and use initiative.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Over 21 years of age to meet industry regulations.
- Level 3/4 Diploma in Children & Young Peoples Workforce is an advantage but not essential.
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends – shifts run 22:30 pm to 08:00 am with a 4 nights on/4 nights off rotation.

Previous experience is not a requirement – we provide 3 weeks of classroom training followed by 1 week of shadow shifts to ensure you feel confident and well equipped to start your new role.
