What Youll Be Doing No two days are the same, but youll be: Leading, motivating, and developing a brilliant team of Team Leaders and Residential Support Workers Creating strong rotas, overseeing inductions, training, and performance (and doing it fairly and consistently) Making sure care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding records are always up to scratch Managing budgets, staffing levels, and the smooth running of the home Working closely with senior leaders to achieve (and maintain!) Good or Outstanding OFSTED outcomes Most importantly creating a nurturing, trauma-informed environment where young people can truly thrive What Youll Bring Youll likely already have: Experience supervising staff in a childrens residential setting Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a Children's Residential Home Experience supporting children with Learning Disabilities and challenging behaviours Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to complete it within 2 years (well fund it!) A full UK driving licence A calm, resilient, and consistent approach grounded in trauma-informed care Flexibility to support the rota when needed (teamwork matters here) Why Join Madiba?
