Responsibilities:
- Developing positive relationships with the young people in our care, their families and external agencies.
- Contributing to the young persons care plans and any risk assessments, supporting with implementation and reviews.
- Supporting young people with daily activities, educational needs and emotional wellbeing.
- Ensuring that good quality records are maintained as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a children’s residential setting or similar role (preferred).
- Ability to interact with young people and manage challenging behaviours calmly.
- Ability to work independently, manage risk and use initiative.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Over 21 years of age to meet industry regulations.
- Level 3 / 4 Diploma in Children & Young Peoples workforce (not essential).
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends – shifts 22:30pm to 8:00am with 4 nights on/4 nights off rotation.
