Responsibilities:

  • Developing positive relationships with the young people in our care, their families and external agencies.
  • Contributing to the young persons care plans and any risk assessments, supporting with implementation and reviews.
  • Supporting young people with daily activities, educational needs and emotional wellbeing.
  • Ensuring that good quality records are maintained as required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a children’s residential setting or similar role (preferred).
  • Ability to interact with young people and manage challenging behaviours calmly.
  • Ability to work independently, manage risk and use initiative.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Over 21 years of age to meet industry regulations.
  • Level 3 / 4 Diploma in Children & Young Peoples workforce (not essential).
  • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends – shifts 22:30pm to 8:00am with 4 nights on/4 nights off rotation.
