We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join the Madiba team as a Registered Manager at our Doncaster based home.
What will you be doing:
- Be an inspirational leader to our Team Leaders and Residential Support Workers by supporting the induction of staff, ongoing training, managing performance, allocation of duties and responsibilities, managing shifts, record keeping and reports, budgets, petty cash, staff deployment and day to day supervision and oversight of the staff and young people.
- Ensure that records such as care plans, risk assessments and anti-bullying plans are updated and reviewed.
- Work with the management team to ensure that we achieve and maintain an OFSTED rating of good or outstanding.

What we are looking for:
- Have previous experience in a role supervising staff.
- Experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
- Level 3 / 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Or equivalent).
- Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or be prepared to acquire within 2 years).
- Full driving licence is essential.
- To be able to provide consistency of care and support to the young people.
- Experience working with children who may display challenging behaviour.
- Flexibility around the rota, covering when needed.
