About the Role: Due to continued growth, Mader Group's Rail Services division is currently seeking High Voltage Locomotive / Rail Electricians to join our Rostered Maintenance Crews on either a FIFO 8 / 8 or 6 / 6 Roster. This is a FIFO role ex. Perth; flights paid if based interstate. Open to both locomotive experience and Electricians looking to break into the Rail industry.
Key duties:
- Scheduled Locomotive and Rolling stock maintenance
- Diagnostics fault finding and repairs of Diesel electric Drive systems such as EMD GE Drive system component diagnostics and repairs
- Dynamic brake testing and commissioning
- Electrical Component installation, replacement and repairs
- Electrical and Mechanical breakdown diagnostics and repairs; including replacements of Traction Motors, Alternators, Engine and Power assemblies, Air Compressors and Blower motors.

What do I need to join:
- Previous Rail / Locomotive or similar Electrical Trade Certificate
- High Voltage Switching Certificate
- WA Electrical Licence
- National Police Check within 3-6 months or willing to get
- First Aid CPR & LVR
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Strong commitment towards safety and quality
- Motivated and hard working with a professional attitude
