We are seeking to appoint a motivated and professional Teacher of Science (Physics) to join our innovative and collaborative Science department. The successful candidate will be an exceptional teacher, able to teach high quality lessons across the age and ability range and be committed to continued professional development. This position would also be suitable for an outstanding Early Career Teacher wishing to begin their career as part of a supportive team which strives for excellence in everything they do.

The Science department has a long history of exceptional results, which is evident in recent outcomes with a Value‑Added score of 0.34, placing Madeley in the top 13% of schools nationally. In 2025, 92% of Physics grades were awarded at 6+, and 36% of grades at 7+. The department is committed to continuous development and numerous CPD opportunities exist within the department, including lesson visit enquiries and sharing best practices.
