Information Technology Business Partner

A well-established distribution and warehousing organisation is seeking an experienced Business Partner for one of its key business units, which will be responsible for IT ownership of business applications, project delivery, and service management.

The role will serve as a bridge between the IT department and business units, ensuring that IT services align with business needs and objectives. This role is crucial for fostering a collaborative relationship between IT and other departments, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the effective use of technology to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their goals and challenges.
• Oversee IT projects from inception to completion.
• IT Owner of key line of business applications, manages support and development and third party support and development organisations.
• Ensure IT services and projects are delivered effectively and efficiently.
• Identify opportunities for technological innovation that can drive business growth and efficiency.
• Support the business in managing the impact of new technologies and processes.
• Track and report on the performance of IT services and projects, ensuring continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of ERP and Warehouse Management Systems and implementation, ideally (SAP).
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Make data-driven decisions.
• Managing cross-functional teams and projects.
• A strong customer service orientation, with a focus on delivering value to the business.
