We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Designer to join our growing production team. In this role, you will play a key role in transforming creative concepts into precise, production-ready technical drawings. Using 3D software, you will produce drawings that support client sign-off and the seamless manufacture of displays, events, and retail environments. Your work will be integral to both internal project teams and external clients. Working closely with the production team to ensure design intent is clearly communicated through detailed drawings, material specifications, and schedules.

With workshops and offices in London and Ibiza, we produce big ideas, activations, and experiences for brand and agency clients that are built to be shared. We pride ourselves on managing every aspect of the brief in-house, ensuring a seamless experience from creative ideation and design to construction, build, and installation. With over 20 years of experience collaborating with some of the world’s most renowned brands, we have successfully executed a range of events from complex scenic construction projects to multi-level technical productions. Our esteemed clientele includes industry leaders such as British Airways, BBC, Google, Netflix, Facebook, Space NK, Apple, YouTube, Amazon, Prada, LVMH, and many more. Our offices and production facilities are housed under one roof, allowing all departments to work collaboratively on a brief. For this reason, this position is office-based, and you’ll need to be able to work from our Studio in South London.

Key Requirements
  • A minimum of three year’s experience as a Senior Technical Designer with a focus on carpentry and metal fabrication
  • To understand client renders, designs, and architectural drawings to then develop precise technical drawings for carpenters, metal fabricators, and machinists
  • Proficiency in CAD Software, Ideally Solidworks, Vectorworks, and Rhino
  • Technical knowledge - understanding and aspiration to learn construction techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes to develop practical designs
  • Communication skills - good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
  • Ability to work individually and collaboratively on projects
  • Attention to detail - identify design issues and resolve them with technical drawings
  • Time management - manage their time and organise to meet project deadlines
  • Due to the nature of the events/exhibition industry, you will be expected to work outside typical office hours and, if required, travel domestically and internationally when needed.
Responsibilities
  • Creating technical drawings—using CAD software to create detailed, accurate, and to-scale drawings
  • Collaborating with internal team members on projects
  • Calculating dimensions—determining the dimensions, weight limitations, and material requirements for a design
  • Joining site visits – visiting the site when required to conduct surveys
  • Maintaining records – keeping accurate records of all documents produced
  • To produce clear, detailed, and concise drawings for both client approval and workshop production
  • File and store drawings in a methodical format aligned with Co file procedure
  • Adaptability – ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and handle challenges effectively
