About Made Tech
Our aim at Made Tech is to use humanâcentred technology to improve our society. We believe putting people at the heart of designing, building and delivering public services leads to better outcomes for everyone. We are looking for Lead Engineers with a particular penchant for cloud, automation, slick tooling, and empowering software delivery by coaching teams in true DevOps fashion. While we value significant experience with AWS, this role remains a fullâstack and polyglot position.
About the Role
We primarily write and deliver custom software for the public sectorâcrossing central and local government, health, and beyond. Technical excellence means delivering outcomes, not just features. Highâperforming delivery teams are enabled to iterate rapidly with cloud automation and DevOps culture. Document architecture and infrastructure as code with Terraform and OpenAPI. Emphasise containerisation, AWS Lambda, and stateless services. Coaching teams to adopt the mantra: âyou build it, you run it.â Technology stack includes Java, Ruby, Python, ES6+ React, C# .NET Core, and more.
Our Senior Engineers embrace sharing knowledge, mentoring, openâmind architecture discussions, and contributing to the wider learning culture.
