Please note this is a 7 month fixed-term contract position. This role requires regular travel to 3 of our office locations - London, Bristol & Manchester. We are looking for the successful individual to start as soon as possible.
Who You Are
A confident, passionate people co-ordinator with a desire to continuously improve the people experience at Made Tech. You will be confident dealing with a variety and volume of queries and always seek to respond in a timely manner that promotes a positive people experience. You will have experience of using HR software and possess competent digital skills given the tech use in this role. A highly organised individual, you will be able to apply an agile approach in order to prioritise and respond to demand. You will be keen to learn and develop, and recognise the value and importance of working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- You will support the people team in the daily administration of its activities and be exposed to all people related areas.
- You will work closely with colleagues primarily across the People team, ensuring people activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- You will often act as the first point of contact to the People team, responding to and resolving both internal and external queries, ensuring all colleagues receive a positive people experience.
- You will ensure that employee records are accurately maintained and that new colleagues are onboarded and administered on to the appropriate platforms.
- You will provide an efficient administrative service to all benefit and payroll tasks, ensuring accurate recording and processing.
- You will also liaise with external customers, such as benefit scheme administrators, providing information as necessary.
- You will support the development of people policies and processes designed to improve the people experience.
- There will also be responsibility for communicating people updates and ensuring that the Made Tech handbook remains up to date.
- Alongside colleagues in the People team you’ll support key projects, specifically the implementation of People initiatives and systems.
- You will organise ongoing socials for company-wide or regional events within an annual budget.
- There may be occasions where you are expected to carry out other duties from time to time which are broadly consistent with your area of responsibility.
