We are now seeking an experienced Lead Marketing Manager to join our team for a 12-months maternity cover, starting in January 2025. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic team-player to join a fast-growing company with expanding capabilities. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, your role will have a dual focus.
You’ll be the marketing partner responsible for some of our industry verticals, playing a critical part in elevating our brand presence and reputation, and generating demand within those verticals. You will also be responsible for our events, working closely with the rest of the marketing team and key stakeholders in the business to ensure that events are delivered as part of a connected marketing plan. Events help to create engagement with new and existing contacts, open up conversations, demonstrate our capability and support sales in generating meetings and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Industry marketing: Act as a trusted advisor and a primary marketing point of contact for the industry verticals you’ll be responsible for. Partner with the industry leadership to develop and implement vertical marketing plans that drive demand for our services within the industries, ensuring cohesion with our overall marketing plans and strategy.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the industry vertical.
- Collaborate with sales and our subject matter experts to create tailored messaging and promotional materials that resonate with industry-specific audiences.
- Work with the rest of the marketing team to develop multi-channel campaigns, getting agreement on proposed activities from all parties, and coordinating the campaign execution and reporting.
- Oversee the development of relevant marketing materials, including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, and presentations that resonate with the industry audience.
- Monitor, analyse and report on key marketing performance metrics and review these periodically with the industry leadership.
- Collaborate with sales, capability/practice subject matter experts and account teams to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives and manage expectations.
- Oversee campaign budgets and advise on marketing spend to support the assigned industries, ensuring effective allocation of resources and maximising ROI.
- Events management: Plan, coordinate, and execute a range of events, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and workshops, aimed at engaging an audience of existing clients and prospects.
- Work with business thought leaders to identify relevant topics and support the development of event presentations.
- Manage event logistics, budgets, swag/collateral and vendor relationships to ensure smooth execution and high-quality attendee experiences.
- Work with the rest of the marketing team to develop pre-event marketing campaigns and with sales on the post-event follow-up to maximize engagement and drive opportunities.
- Evaluate event effectiveness in meeting our strategic objectives and deliver measurable ROI and gather feedback to continuously improve future initiatives.

- Extensive experience in B2B marketing in consulting/professional services with a strong focus on event management and campaign management.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive engagement and growth.
- Demonstrable experience in B2B event management, from strategy to execution, of both face-to-face and online events/webinars.
- Working knowledge of the major B2B marketing channels (digital and offline).
- Solid knowledge of Hubspot and Salesforce.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with teams and senior stakeholders.
- A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
- Good time management and project management skills, able to juggle multiple projects at the same time.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Comfortable with ambiguity and adept at managing change.
- Experience in managing events and campaign budgets and working with designers and other suppliers.
- Understanding of branding, with an eye for detail. Empathy and people skills.
- Previous experience targeting the UK public sector.
- Familiarity with agile ways of working.
- Familiarity with Trello, Slack and the Google Workspace.

As a result, we’re looking for all successful candidates for this role to have eligibility. Eligibility for SC requires 5 years' UK residency and 5 year employment history (or back to full-time education).
